Vendai
Extracts and compares vendor quotes straight out of Gmail for procurement teams.
Who it's for Procurement teams comparing vendor quotes buried in email
In pilot — proving it with real users before we market it.
The story
Procurement runs on email, and email is where comparison goes to die. Five vendors reply over four days, each with a different format, half of them as a PDF attachment, and somebody ends up retyping it all into a spreadsheet to find out who is cheapest.
Vendai reads the mailbox instead. It pulls the quotes out as they arrive — vendor, item, price, terms — and puts them side by side, so the comparison exists without anyone building it.
It exists because a family member's company had exactly that problem, so it got built over a weekend rather than scoped as a product. It is running on their real purchasing mail now, and that is the test: not whether the demo works, but whether it still works on months of somebody's actual inbox. Until they tell us it does, it stays a pilot with no numbers on this page — their procurement traffic is theirs, not our metric.
