The story

Tally holds the books of an enormous number of Indian businesses, and getting a straight answer out of it means knowing which report to open. Most owners don't; they ask their accountant, and wait.

tallyAIchat puts the question in plain language — what did we spend on packaging last month, who owes us money past 60 days — and sends the answers and alerts to WhatsApp, where the owner already is.

It is a pilot in the truest sense: built, working, and in nobody's hands but ours. The thousands of questions in its logs are our own testing, not customers, and we would rather say that than let a usage number imply a business that isn't there yet.
