Weekend build
BrainLoop
An infinite trap-logic brain-puzzle game with ELO ratings and leaderboards.
Who it's for Puzzle players who like being tricked and want to climb a real leaderboard
A weekend build — made for friends, family, or the fun of it.
The story
BrainLoop came from a small question: how much of a real game is the scaffolding? Ratings, matchmaking, leaderboards, an endless supply of puzzles that are actually hard — the parts that usually take a studio.
So it got built as an experiment. The puzzles are trap-logic: questions written so that the obvious answer is the wrong one, which is the only kind of brain teaser that stays interesting once you know the trick. Every player carries an ELO rating, and the leaderboard is the whole loop.
It is here as a weekend build, not a product with a plan. The domain is down at the moment and we have not put it back up, which tells you as much as anything else about where it sits.
