Why it is paused

easyagent could operate an Android phone the way a person does: read the screen, decide, tap. It used the accessibility APIs to do it, which is the only route on Android that works across every app.

It is also the route Google watches most closely, and rightly — the same permission that lets a helper act on your behalf lets malware do the same. Shipping it as a general 'agent that uses your phone' means arguing with policy reviewers forever, so we stopped.

What kept it from being deleted is a different framing of the same product: an assistant for older users, who do not want to learn where the button moved to this month and would rather ask. There, acting on the user's behalf and explaining what is on the screen is the entire purpose, not a side effect — and that is a version worth building when we get to it.
